Starting August 1st, 2009 Internet Radio Magazine will identify the Top 20 Independent Artists and Bands - this in itself will be big because we will select those 20 from dozens submitted to us by fans, manager, publicists, and artists.
By August 16th, there will be 10 bands left! Internet Radio Magazine’s Top Ten for 2009
By August 31st - There will only be 5 finalists and on September 7th the winner of Internet Radio Magazine’s Best Independent Artist of 2009 will be crowned.
Stay tuned for updates as the sponsors start checking in. In order to win, you will need to have an energized fanbase because music fans will decide the winners in this contest.
No celebrity panels - no roll of the dice. Votes baby!
We will also be doing interviews with finalists, as well as promoting band swag, CDs, concert tickets and anything else your decide to buy - er motivate - your fans with.
