Along with The Wave's musical talents he is also a film maker. Check out the trailer for his documentary, "Murda Capital," a film that documents the rising murder rates in the ghettos of post-Katrina New Orleans. Real people from the hood share their stories of how murder has affected their lives and shed insight on the root of the problem. A convicted murderer, fresh from an eleven year prison sentence urges young people not to make the same mistakes he made. A mother mourns the losses of all four of her sons to gun violence. The Wave travels from ward to ward, asking people from all parts of the city to come forward and speak out against violence.
